My mother's name is Marion Gunderson. She is now deceased but painted watercolors from 1933 (or before) through 2000. All of the prints at this site are of watercolors painted by her. My mother also worked at the Rolfe (Iowa) Public Library for 35 years until 1998. To date, the sales of prints of Mother's watercolors have provided nearly $4,100 to the Rolfe Public Library Trust. The current library project for which funds are being raised is the digitization of 101 years of Rolfe, Iowa, newspapers so that the contents may be keyword-searchable online.
Prints of two additional watercolors will be available no later than June 1, 2012.
